How to setup this fetures in linux machine???

:redface: how do ya log into uadmin i installed it but cannot figure for the life of me what the console command is and no it is not adminlogin 123456 ive tried. Please help

will this work with MODS, like Red Orchestra?

I've had crashes since installing the new patch (3323) (i.e. it kicked everybody off the server)

message was:
UAdminMod: UAMBalanceTeams.Balance --> Missing URI for c[_]`JACKLE
UAdminMod: UAMBalanceTeams.Balance --> Missing URI for c[_]`JACKLE

this line was listed over and over and over...

Any ideas?

No problems on our server (with the new patch).

ya my server is crashing to with the same problem with the latest patch and anti tcc. Flying Dutchman you running a mod or anything on your server?

Not sure what it was but I ended up starting my ut2004.ini from scratch. Just to make sure there were no remnant of other mods (excessive, utcomp, jailbreak, uadmin....) Server seems stable now. I'm gonna let it run for a few days and then see if I can add some things back on.

hey for the admin logins, how do you set up user names and passwords? Are these the same as the web utility? Any help is appreciated.

Look for a file in your ut2004\system folder called xAdmin.ini
Looks like this when you open it:

You login in a game by typing Adminlogin Admin Admin in the console. You can change the admin name and password here.

Every time I run invasion on my server with UAdminMod it tries to balance teams whenever someone joins because it thinks they are cheating by joining the team with more players even though there is only 1 team. I have turned off balance teams everywhere I could find it but it's still doing this. Any suggestions?

Does anyone know when the next version of this will be coming out?

i downloaded u admin and installed and had the balance teams set up to moniter bad team switches and to report them and to fix bad switches but this killed players as others joined or left during invasion so i turned everything to false in team balancing and it still killed players so i removed uadmin i like features of this and would like to use it but not if it kills me and others because someone joins.

oh ya and also with the auto admin when you log out of admin 5 min or so later u get loged backin as admin i did have silent admin going also.

i only had uadmin going on server for two days and since it is nolonger installed i donot have anything more specific such as exactly which settings i had set to what. but i think i will download again and see if there is something that i did wrong. but i am pretty sure that i had all the settings set to not kill players and to not relog in as admin at regular intervals.

and the worst part is that i didnt even get to slap anyone :twisted: or make them vomit :twisted: ,or shut anyone up :frown: so i am going to give it another try just to see if i set something wrong or what.

just as a note auto admin did log me in when i joined server, my other admin did get to slap someone and make them vomit and such, which he liked very much.

if i get the same results i will post my ini settings on next post if that will help in fixing problem

First its sad to say but there will probably never be a alpha version because the author has more to do in real life actualy and have no more time to develop anymire uadmin mod.

Check the atary forum to fin more informations about the hypotetic version 100, the author as tried to get time an discuss a corrected version around january but it seams that there is no more news from him and his site and forum as disapered... :(

There must be 8 months that i have stoped to use uadmin with invasion for the bug who kill players when they joint. Its so sad because some fonctionalities are realy missing without this so nice admin tool.

I mean, i miss the auto-message feature and admin commands. Ok there is adminplus but how to use a mutator to display auto-messages ?

My choise : UT2Vote + AdminPlus + AntiTCC & ServerExt :thumbup:

does this mutator work for Invasion?

The older versions (v94) work with invasion, but v95 and v95b kill people constantly because it tries to balance teams.
