Wanna join my new server?

I do apologize if this isnt the best place for it, but would any of you care to join me in trying out my brand new UT99 CTF RX/Stuffswapper server? :)

The LAN address is: 192.168.0.3:7777
If you want to of course.

medor 5th March, 2018 10:15 PM

This is your LAN ip we need you WAN ip for connect http://www.mon-ip.com/info-adresse-ip.php

GhostHunter94 5th March, 2018 10:53 PM

well this is the only thing i have to run by: 107.145.248.97 (IP) and unreal masterserver 98.124.199.29

but it doesnt seem to be part of my server.

GhostHunter94 6th March, 2018 02:24 AM

I dont know, i thought i took care of everything when i was getting everything set up, i guess setting up a global server was harder than i thought.

medor 6th March, 2018 07:58 AM

Nothing here 107.145.248.97 (IP) and unreal masterserver 98.124.199.29
If you don't ave a ip fix this ip change for all reboot connection internet

It's very easy with a server ready, Do you use my server linked up ?

What is the name of your server ? I can search it here http://333networks.com/s/ut
You must allow it in your anti-virus and firewall.

You must use dmz OR open ports in your router
TCP PORTS: 7777, 8080, 8777, 9777, 27900
UDP PORTS: 7777, 7778, 7779, 27900

GhostHunter94 6th March, 2018 08:54 PM

Yes, i've tried everything, including all of the above but absolutely None of this is working at all, i've noticed no change at all what so ever.

i'll try to get it back up but it maybe seen as LAN Only so i dont know if you'll see it.

When i do get it up, it should be on an american connection with 'GhostHunter94' in the name.. let me know when you are ready so i can get it back up.

--

Update: Which doesnt matter now because i just checked it myself in that site you supplied but didnt find it.

i honestly dont know what the heck i could be missing, i know i'm doing at least most of what you had listed but nothing has worked at all.

GhostHunter94 6th March, 2018 09:15 PM

You know what, i have it up as an LAN for now, hopefully you will be able to see it, it will be titled "GhostHunter94's StuffSwapper Server" so you might know what to look for.

im gonna try to have it up till about Midnight my time (Eastern Time) to give you enough time to see it.

medor 6th March, 2018 10:25 PM

You ave reply to one question but not at the two

Yhis is important for know if you advertice your server with my update masterservers

This is for the players!

Open your games configuration file, usually gamename.ini (unrealtournament.ini), find the sections below and edit them as described:

Code:

[UBrowserAll]
ListFactories[0]=UBrowser.UBrowserGSpyFact,MasterServerAddress=master.333networks.com,MasterServerTCPPort=28900,Region=0,GameName=ut
ListFactories[1]=UBrowser.UBrowserGSpyFact,MasterServerAddress=master.noccer.de,MasterServerTCPPort=28900,Region=0,GameName=ut
ListFactories[2]=UBrowser.UBrowserGSpyFact,MasterServerAddress=utmaster.epicgames.com,MasterServerTCPPort=28900,Region=0,GameName=ut
bFallbackFactories=False

This is also very important to make sure that the updateserver does not mix up your settings.

Code:

[UBrowser.UBrowserMainClientWindow]
bKeepMasterServer=True

Save your config and browse through the game as fast as light can't get [:D]

This is for servers!

Stop your server and open the server's configuration file, usually gamename.ini (unrealtournament.ini)

Go to

[Engine.GameEngine]

and delete these lines:

Code:

ServerActors=IpServer.UdpServerUplink MasterServerAddress=master0.gamespy.com MasterServerPort=27900
ServerActors=IpServer.UdpServerUplink MasterServerAddress=master.mplayer.com MasterServerPort=27900

replace them with

Code:

ServerActors=IpServer.UdpServerUplink MasterServerAddress=utmaster.epicgames.com MasterServerPort=27900
ServerActors=IpServer.UdpServerUplink MasterServerAddress=master.noccer.de MasterServerPort=27900
ServerActors=IpServer.UdpServerUplink MasterServerAddress=master.333networks.com MasterServerPort=27900

Now your server is ready for 333networks. It will uplink to epicgames, 333networks and noccer.de

LINUX users please note: The maximum numbers for uplinks is actually 3 (in some cases it is 4). Do NOT exceed the limit or your server will immediately crash.
If you want i can set your server using AnyDesk

GhostHunter94 7th March, 2018 01:35 AM

let me come back to you on that in a little bit, im trying to prepare some special surprises. :)

ShaiHulud 7th March, 2018 06:38 AM

GhostHunter, the IP address system has been organised so that there are two separate groups of addresses.

One group (or "range") of addresses is "non-routable", this means that any network equipment which receives data directed to an IP within one of those ranges will not send it out onto the Internet.

The other group of addresses is routable, and data directed to IP address from within those ranges can be sent across the Internet.

Your LAN (Local Area Network) contains only non-routable IP addresses. All of the IP addresses in the sequence from 192.168.0.1 to 192.168.0.255 are part of the non-routable range (for class C IP addresses, in this case).

For the UT server running on your PC to be accessible to the outside world, you need to set up Port Forwarding on your modem/router.

Find your router on this website for detailed instructions:

https://portforward.com/router.htm

GhostHunter94 7th March, 2018 06:38 AM

Well, i've done the following instructions but it still WILL NOT work.. but my "run server" thing said something about "Webserver not established - set bEnabled to True"

--

Update: Which i've set to "benabled true" in the configs now and i get a 'game engine established' this time, but i still get a: "connection aborted" on this one thing: "master.noccer.de (WSANO_DATA)"

I feel this must be the last thing to figure out.

Also, in reply to Shai, it's definitely NOT a router/modem thing, as i've run not-quite-so local games on other games on the router before, i can tell you that right now.

medor 7th March, 2018 07:41 AM

Now i know you want a RX server may be SLV to.

I'm going to upload a new server with this all newnet ready masterserver ok .... so if not enable to see it : this coming close ports.

GhostHunter94 7th March, 2018 10:23 PM

Honestly, im starting to think maybe i should just give up.

Even as i might be close to officially starting a More Widespread Server with each problem i may have solved, im thinking maybe this wasnt the best idea i'e ever had.

medor 8th March, 2018 07:28 AM

ok :(

come this Friday 23 March :D

CPanoplyd 25th March, 2018 04:11 PM

Go to www.whatismyip.com from the gameserver and it will give you the outside IP of your connection. That's the IP external users will need, not your internal LAN address.
