All Weapons Mod
Hi guys,
I've just managed to setup up my first UT99 server running on Ubuntu 16.04 on a DigitalOcean droplet - was relatively painless bar finding out how to add i386 support as it's a 64bit distro. I've almost got things how I want them but I want this to be a Deck 16 All Weapons server - so I'd like players to join with a fully loaded rack of weapons and only need to go to a weapon in game if they're low on ammo for the weapon. I can't seem to find out if this is a mod or an ingame setting - can anybody help me out? Thanks! Mike |

OK - so I worked out how to install .umod files in Linux thanks to https://gist.github.com/soifou/e863b978d1f01e33691b
I've got the mod installed and updated my ./ucc.init script to always boot with the AllWeapons mod enabled - and in game it appears to have 'half' worked - i.e. it's clearly had an effect but it's not quite right. The weapons weren't fully loaded and the ASMD was missing. I've done a fair amount of Googling but couldn't find anything - I assume there's some INI file tweaking that can be done to tweak settings relating to a mod and I suspect the AllWeapons mod needs some changes to allow all weapons and start with maximum ammo (i.e. 50 bullets for sniper rifle) Any idea as to where I can find some documentation for the AllWeapons INI settings? Thanks Mike |
Hmm, AllWeapons.u, AllWeapons.int and AllWeapons.txt came out of the .umod - none of which are settings files.
I've looked at other servers to try and see what mods they're using - such as the UT Survivors server (https://www.gametracker.com/server_i...ver_variables/) - this uses MaxAllWeapons rather than AllWeapons. Nothing shows up on Google for that though, nor can I find anything on http://www.ut-files.com/ Any thoughts? |
