NC - Excess netspeed changes!
I recently found the same player logged with (NC - Excess netspeed changes!).
But there never was a netspeed change in the log though. It always showed "Client netspeed 10000". Instead one time I found: "ScriptLog: Something destroyed a LadderInventory!" Could someone explain to me please what that means? And also what is the problem with changing netspeed during a game? I thought it would only effect the client, now I saw there's even an AntiNetspeedHack. Here is the log: UTPure: 2009-06-21 17:34.50 UTPureCheat: ......... Using extremely low netspeed makes you hard to hit, though everything is laggy for you, too. Low netspeed could be abused for flag runs.

That's why I made the antinethack, to stop people changing it during a game. There is no reason to change netspeed during a game at all - once you have a good netspeed you can usually leave it alone. |
