Question about how the Sections are setup for UTAN
 

I'm a forum admin and I would like to know how you have it setup so that any user can post in the Global Ban Submission section and ONLY see their own posts and no one elses. I tried to PM this to Wormbo since he's involved with UTAN....but his PM box is "full" (turned off).

For that, go to Forum Permissions Manager and change the permissions of the forum you want affected to:

Can View Forum: yes
Can View Thread Content: yes
Can View Others' Threads: No
Can Search Forums: No
Can Reply to Own Threads: Yes
Can Reply to Others' Threads: No
Can Edit Own Posts : No
Can Delete Own Posts : No
Can Delete Own Threads : No
Can Open / Close Own Threads : No
Can Move Own Threads: No

Then go to the individual settings for any moderator groups you have and set everything to Yes.

I'll have to look for that. I don't recall seeing anything like that in the Nuke-Evo we use. Thanks Piglet.

This is why I've not seen it before we can only assign View, Read, Post, Reply, Edit, Delete, Sticky, Announce, Vote, Poll create, Global Announce, Post Files, Download Files.

Not a problem. You answered my question fully. Now I have to fish on the NukeEvo forums to see how I can achieve this same effect....LOL Ever try and search for forum, view, post, and permissions on a site about Forum Software? ROFL!!
