.uz3 Download Problem
 

Both my server and client are patched to 1.2. I am unable to get .uz3's to download. I believe that i had my server set up correctly and I uploaded the compressed maps to my redirect but my client will not download them. I have been using the redirect since patch1.1 without any problem. What am I doing wrong?

I had my UTEngine.ini set this way:

[IpDrv.HTTPDownload]
RedirectToURL=http://www.myredirect/
UseCompression=True
ProxyServerPort=
ProxyServerHost=

Got it figured out, it was my bad. I never enabled my redirect to allow .uz3 downloads, Woops! :redface:

I know this is an ancient thread but... since gameservers went down, I'm trying to set up my own home box. I can see the files in the directory but the game won't get them. I have an Apache server running. Could you tell me how to allow .uz3 downloads on an Apache server?

all you have to use is the url that will show you the files in a web browser
ex. yourdonainnamehere.com/redirect

I did that actually. The one thing I did that was different is that I put the files in uncompressed (and changed the ini file to false for compression). I can see the files from a browser, click on them and download them but if I put the exact URL into the ini file, the game go get the file. Oh well, I'll keep trying.
