Server log stops logging...
My server's log stops logging always around 500 lines or so.
This is normally around the time it loads the WebAdmin if that means anything. I have a monitoring program that will monitor a text file and alert of certain strings. I'm looking to get it to monitor the log file for "error" and when people connect to the server. Thanks. |
The Unreal Engine does not flush log files immediately when it logs new lines. It only does so implicitly after 4kB of log data is accumulated or explicitly when it shuts down. Therefore the standard monitoring methods (e.g. tail) are ineffective and will most likely produce the wrong timestamps, if you try to monitor that as well.
