damn, i failed to make my message clear.
even if it's simulated, client machine trusts that simulated position, aim on the rocket position appeared on client side & ZP will do a client trace, then send the hit message to server.
what i said about collision size, it happens both online & offline, man i mean it's a flaw of the mod/unreal engine1. i even have set the SLV204 flying speed to real slow in SLConfig and try shooting its OFFLine.

you can't hit the tip and rear part of a SLV in normal mode

for a SLV in shooter mode, ......


Besides, there are fireoffset issue, u actually shoot somewhere below ur crosshair pointing to. to hit a SLV from far distance its effect is prominent.

after all, i am quite upset on the concept of "leading the RX in order to hit".
it's just not the way ZP work. i am not talking about the position mismatch between server & client. i am emphasizing on the difference from within the SLV design itself, which thus exist even in a single player game, as i have shown above.

No bro, you made your point perfectly clear and I'm glad you took the time to really explain it so the jet drivers can see what you are saying. I just happen to be making a different point that is parallel to yours.

Both of our posts need to be taken into consideration when the next RX update is done if there is any intention of using ZP.

i need someone to adjust utpure7G.

Put the BL (BadLightning) check off or out or delete it.

Because for BT it sucks.But we need UTPure for some anti on the servers.

It seems none optional. You need to use an alternative anticheat and swap it around using a dynamic package mananger.

hopefully some light at the end of this tunnel yet. FeraliDragon maybe able to insert for us the means to whitelist mods like ACE.

this would indeed be exciting.

a thought on Pure7G last public Release Version afaik .. would it be too hard to deobfuscate it , I mean what would you recommend doing to do this?

also I notice that you reference version 6A alot as being the Final Version , is that to say that Version 6A is in fact the most recent version of Pure not 7+?

Also note that timtim from globalunreal.com is making fantastic improvements on an unlagged version for ut99.. we have been running his version for several months and hardly a whimper about any of these issues others have been having with ZP and the likes. He has based his works on version 7E although.. Iam not sure what the differences are between that and the newer ones.. and am really stumped by this random version 6A.

Also version 7H?.. this was never actually released why?.. is it a better version then 7G.. idk.

shame that some legal issues got intertwined in regards to this other thing you had going.

drop by our servers some time and see how far things have come since you left. Perhaps you may even want to come back and Join timtim/feralidragon/anth to further develop for the best game ever.

If I pick one of the Pure versions up and add the capacity to whitelist packages (not committing to anything just yet), I need to know which problems admins have exactly with Pure that could be fixed by whitelisting, and also I need to know which version overall admins prefer (and which has a released source), since this would be a one time thing (I don't intend to do more in Pure than this).

afaik there are 3 main versions floating around.

Pure7E , Pure7G , NewNet (Pure 7E)

Preferrably I would say 7G , however TnSe seems to have misplaced the SouceCodes for this version and it is heavily Obfuscated.. afaik..

perhaps your expert DeObfuscation Skills could extract the source from this package. here

there is a Version 7H but idk wtf that is or if it even works.. or who made it for the matter.

in regards to mods that don't work with pure..

Anything I believe that attempts to change the HUD has problems. also Soul Harvest and the Assault & SLV Game Types! mainly HUD issues.
probably all of the Danes stuff
