I registered at that site, asked for a download of it, but never heard back. I'll go to a RTX server and get it if I have to.

By the way, for what it's worth, I called Britton a few months ago, and he's amazed that anyone is even still playing with the jets. He also stated that he's not in UT at all any more, and wished us all well with anything we try to do, and gave blessings to all to do with as we pleased with the script. He's working on an entire game and will not be able to help, sadly enough.

A total rewrite of the code is the best chance for this to work, either of pure or of the jets themselves.

For that, someone who knows way more than I do will have to tackle this. My suggestion would be either Henryhouse or BlackCheetah. Yeah, BlackCheetah, the 15 year old kid everyone gets annoyed with. He's a freaking codal savant, and way underappreciated.

Im gonna look into how to disable PURE for some maps. I heard it can be done?

I have now used Server Mode to allow jets to work on some maps.

Anyone know if another version of PURE will be released? (on that works with jets!)

The chances of that happening are low. He said he hadn't played UT in years and that he didn't care about the project anymore.

What I'd like to see is a new anticheat that allows for more flexibility with different security levels and some degree of control on what clients can or cannot do. NBSP or EUT would form a good basis for this. It would require a lot of time and knowhow though.

Yes, the ability to turn off all kicks in EUT would be a start. There's lots of maps that can not be played if you use EUT.

Making it so you can choose what you want.

Log, no log
and kick, no kick
and ban, no ban

This way you can set it up to still log the player, and kick/ban him, or just log the player.

Then having the server email you would be pretty nice too.
