Hi,
Thanks for posting that.
Apologies if I'm a bit slow (it's late, and I've had to implement a UT3 server in a vmware virtual instance *shudder*)
When I click on the link in the return email, it asks me for a username/password for udn.epicgames.com
Is there a delay between getting the link/password & it working?

Hey Jeff how about a link to a windows dedicated server for this demo? None of us have been able to get the demo working in win2k3 server, have it installed yet have a problem with modified code and wont start.

Please reply to the email sent to you when you subscribed with the long string of numbers in the subject. That will accomplish the same thing.

I did that, however it is still giving me grief!
I'm guessing there are a lot of signups happening atm.
I'll just (try and) wait patiently

Just wanted to add this post from beyondunreal.com, quotes an E-mail speaking about the dedicated server and another mailing list for linux and mac discussions.
http://www.beyondunreal.com/daedalus...t.php?id=11068
*Edit: Don't use that mailing list (ut3@...) for admin stuff, as per the linux dedicated release message:
Quote:
Admin stuff should go to the ut3servers list. Don't send it to
(mostly that'll be focused on the Linux/Mac clients
eventually, whereas all the expert admins hang out on ut3servers).

I'm not able to access the website either since I don't know what username to use with the mailing list supplied pw.
Also, does anyone know how to retrieve the old posts (archived mails) for the new ut3servers mailing list? I don't see an username/pw at the bottom of the mailing list emails.
ThxNadvance!

Well, worst case, I've been on that list since about 3am of the Saturday morning after the UT3 release, so I can forward you any messages since then

Umm, since you've graciously offered, could you just export the emails or combine into 1 email and send to huntrcker(at)gmail(dot)com. If not, piecemeal is fine too. Thx!

No worries.
I'm an M$ whore, so will a .pst export from Outlook be OK?
Other than that, it'll have to be a Crtl-A Send as attachment on the UT3 folder
Can't do it from work (as the remote gateway into my house appears to have died)m but will be able to sort this in about an hour

As promised.
The email archive here goes back to 01:26 BST Sat 13th.
If anyone has any of the earlier mailing list emails, forward them my way and I'll add them in.
If you guys think this might be a useful resource, I can update this periodically.

first, it's not the old posts of the ut2003 list, it's the semi live data of the ut3server list.
because the updates are rather instant and not delayed and because all data is directly visible I don't want the details to be posted to the public.
