from that u can see i have a huge serverpackages list...these mods are there for different gamestyles, as i run a multistyle server. anyhow my question is this no matter what gametype is running clients have to dload ALL of those packages rite? correct if im wrong please
also i was wondering if i took out those serverpackages....and the mods were running wud the server still send the required files/mods?

The mods won't be running. You can't mod the ini while the game is running, so download they will.

The players who have already downloaded them/got them on their pc would play but others would get rejected with missing package error.
I thought there was a dynamic loader mod that loaded packages only when needed e.g. by gametype? I will see if i can find it unless I was dreamin

What kinda set up you got? if your wanting it just by gametype the setup shouldnt be too hard or do you have loads of mods on loads of gametypes

its only loads of mods for binslayer J...uv been on my server....i have other gametypes too siege, LGI they have almost no mods running prolly 1 or 2

i just hate to think that ppl have to load all those packages even if the gametype isnt using that mod....cos i for 1 no it sure is a whole hell of a lot of dloading

I don't see the problem here. When you redirect those files they will be downloaded before you know it.

theres so much to download that ppl end up disconnecting....it takes a while all are on redirect but it still does take 5-10mins to dload them all
