Has anybody had any issues with players redjacking and other players sliding around? I have 1 possibly 2 players complaining of the same thing. He says he doesn't get any kick message it just redjacks and lags out.

I've asked him several times to post here with his info and explain his problem but he expects things to get fixed without reporting them, so I'm explaining this the best I know of.

After adding up PureStat7G.u to the UPackages all the issues have disappeared. I'd suggest including that by default in futher updates of ACE, I've had quite a few people pm me and ask about this "kicking all players" problem. Everyone is assuming that purestats would be added by default as it's a part of the utpure package.

So yeah thanks alot anth, it's working smoothly and hopefully does the job properly by keeping all those cheaters away

I haven't had time to check out the mechanism which adds the packages, but it might be that the classes are not spawned on the server or do not call trace/draw before ace is setup making ACE not add them to the list of allowed packages.

Normally ACE handles packages with and without the extension perfectly but in v0.8 I'm using a new check to see if a package should be added. Rather than checking the ServerPackages I'm now checking the PackageMap and my PackageMap check doesn't handle files with extensions properly.

Myself and other players are getting this error and an automatic disconnect from my server after a successful map completion. This happens even if I restart UT. I'm not running any firewalls and the server isn't behind a NAT. Any idea what's going on?

This is happening because the port it is trying to bind is already bound by something else. There is a config option within the ACE section which allows you to stop ACE from using certain ports. Try and add the port that ACE is trying to bind in that variable.

Is there any news on when the fix for linux servers is going to be or should I put ACE .06 back on until it's fixed? It's hard having pug servers where it keeps timeout kicking them

Make sure you've the rights to create new files in the folder.

It also didn't work for me, I had to contact gameservers.com, so they gave the server the right to create new files in non-default folders

I've been running all priv and public beta versions fine.

I have had this issue before though, and deleting all ACE related files including package helper, nploader and IACE and then re-uploading solved the issue.

Also, make sure you delete EVERY file from v6q, dont forget to take out the v6q entries and nploader entries out of the ut.ini and then start your server with just serveractor nploaderv16b.
