I want to play a friend on a LAN one-on-one, with him leading one team of 5 bots and me leading the other. Maybe I've missed something in the game but running a server from there appears to not include bots. Is this correct? Do I need to run a ucc-bin server by hand to make this happen?

I've also been experimenting with running a dedicated server to maximize dual-cpu utilization. (I.e. the server can run on one CPU and my client on the other) I'm using the commandline:

./ucc-bin server "ONS-ArcticStronghold?bAutoNumBots=True?bBalanceTeams=T rue?Game=Onslaught.ONSOnslaughtGame?MinPlayers=12? TimeLimit=15?bPlayerMustBeReady=True" -lanplay -server

But the bots are starting the game before I can join. Any way to hold up the game until all humans are in?

Default QuickStart

First off this page is great: http://wiki.unrealadmin.org/Commandl...s_%28UT2004%29

Second on that page you will find it detailing an option called QuickStart. Just add ?QuickStart=False to your commandline and you should be golden.
