Check the first line in the script. It should be #! /bin/bash. That is <hash><bang><space><slash>bin<slash>bash. Next check that you actually have bash installed at this location. If you don't, adapt the "/bin/bash" part to match the shell and location.

Problem was copying from windows -> linux and the extra line feed symbols
Space shouldn't make a difference

No, it usually doesn't. But the canonical syntax is with the space so you might just as well do it right.  |
