Ok I'm really new to SimiAdmin. It sounds really good but I'm having trouble installing it. Is it only for Linux, windows, or both? Are individual user accounts created in the new web interface or is there an ini file that I'm missing? I rent a server, I dont host one from home so much of the "in game" set up systems that many mod makers use just will not work for me. Also may I make a suggestion. A few more examples on how to work the features would be welcome. The readme is still very hard to follow and in many case just doesnt make sence to me (I'm probally not under standing what it is saying.) Maybe a Readme.text for dummies would be a good idea Just a suggestion. Your hard work is not unapreciated. I am playing around with it trying to get it installed and once I do I will play around with it to try to understand how to use it.

a little more information of what problems I'm having. I got it all loaded to the server. I have added the line to the ini file so it now looks like this

Quote:
ServerActors=WebChatLog.WebChatLog
ServerActors=ServerAdds.ServerAdds
ServerActors=SemiAdmin.SemiAdminSA
ServerActors=WebChatLog.WebChatLog
Then I added the line to the uweb section to match your example in the readme

Quote:

[UWeb.WebServer]
Applications[0]=UTServerAdmin.UTServerAdmin
ApplicationPaths[0]=/ServerAdmin
Applications[1]=UTServerAdmin.UTImageServer
ApplicationPaths[1]=/images
DefaultApplication=0
bEnabled=True
ListenPort=104
Applications[2]=SemiAdmin.ServerSemiAdmin
ApplicationPaths[2]=/SemiWebAdmin
MaxConnections=30
ServerName=
Now when I try to go to the simi web admin I type

SimiWebadmin]http://serverip:port/SimiWebadmin

But it just logs me into the regular web admin

ServerAdmin]http://serverip:port/ServerAdmin

Everytime I try connecting to Simi admin it gets replaced with Server Admin. Any Ideas what I'm doing wrong?

BTW if it helps to know the server is on a Windows 2000 based system.

Are you typing /SemiWebAdmin or /SimiWebAdmin? What you put for ApplicationPaths[2]= in your server's .ini file is what you need to use in your web browser to access the Semi WebAdmin interface.

well, that makes a little difference

Ok now it does something different. Instead of reverting back to the ServerAdmin page, it does ask for the login and password for the SemiWebAdmin page. I put in the default login and password and then it goes to "Cannot Find Server" "The page cannot be displayed"

Have you installed the actual webpages for SemiAdmin? They are included in the zip, and should go into the Web/SemiAdmin folder of your UT installation.

Yup, they are all installed. and they are in the proper spot. But dont worry about it any more. I got the in game setup working and I am now all set. Working great. Thanks for the help anyway.
