Hi.

I am running the demo and I love it. I actually seem to get much less lag than pc users on the same pipe. However, i am also hosting a dedicated server on another mac and am unable to get web admin to work. Has anyone had any experience with this? I try on the machine (since the dedicated server runs in console mode), another machine on the same subnet, and another machine on the web. No luck. My firewall (linux box) has the right port mapped to the right machine. (Mail works, different website works). Any ideas?

Thanks.

Sorry. Found the log files. One for ucc.log and one for UT2003.log.

In the ucc.log file, I get this everytime

ScriptLog: xWebAdmin.UTServerAdmin Initialized on Port 81
Log: WebServer BR-Anubis.WebServer (Function UWeb.WebServer.BeginPlay:01EE) BindPort: bind failed

After looking at the programs contents, the folder is Web, not uWeb. Do you think that is the problem?

Sounds to me like something is already running on port 81. Try changing that to say 8081.

ClWolf,

You would do that by adding this line:

ListenPort=8888

to the
[UWeb.Webserver]
section of your ini file, if that line isn't already there. However, I suspect it won't be that simple. Let us know how it goes.
