Zu's CHSP8 v13
Does anyone know of "known problems or issues" with Zu's CHSP8 v13?
It's telling me I have an aimbot. I was told to google a search for known issues because perhaps there's a file in my sys folder causing this anomaly. No luck finding anything on google or yahoo cause I don't know the manufacturer's name.
Also, does anyone know if an aimbot, etc. can be "pushed" along with maps and other legit peices when entering a UT99 server? I first thought that might be what happened, but the above is prob. more realistic. I did a search for Helios on my PC and did not find it anywhere. Sounds paranoid, I know. But, I think some hackers can actually touch your desktop in WinXP Pro if you have file and printer sharing turned on.
lotta questions here. Thanks,
padre

Its a Private Anticheat that was made public a while back when it got outdated, but had no readme.
So, I doubt anyone would know about any bugs it may have =/

Hacks can't be contracted like a cold. You actually have to install them .

And that's probably why UTIII was a relative flop. New game, same sh*thead players ^^.

sry Azura, I meant to say "hackers" instead of "hacks." I've edited my post to correct that.

In theory, it would be possible to "push" a rogue file along with a map or something. However, the map in question stays in the cache for about 30 days and it can be easily determined that it was used as a vector.
Also, anyone that does this through a server should be firmly denounced as it is unacceptable to do something like this.

I'm hearing that the 451 client patch/upgrade may conflict with CHSP8. Not sure. Can anyone confirm that?
I agree about taking a stand. There needs to be a clear line drawn. I play on several servers, so that remote scenario would be hard to prove.
Thanks,
padre

Or a server had a aimbot name as ServerPAckage and dropped it in youre cache So going to another server it detects youre aimbot in youre cache
