Linux client help!
I was wondering if there is a cheat protection that allows Linux Clients to connect to a server? I noticed that UTDC does not allow that feature, Also some of my Linux clients have problems connection threw NBSP. Please give me some suggestions on an good, up-to-date, cheat protector that allows Linux clients.
Rgds.

UTDC can be configured to allow Linux clients to connect. The problem is that some cheats can fake Linux to bypass the check, so not everyone will allow it.

The main issue of all most cheat protections is that they aren't allowed to be in Cache on Linux Clients, well it can be fixed by a programmer but almost nobody really cares about it. You have to manually place the files in your System. If you do so the only problem might be the UTDC set in the incompatibility mode :/

well its worth a shot. I really like UTDC and im honestly too lazy to put up a different protection. If you would tell me how to change UTDC to allow linux clients that would be awesome.

Make sure you have v15 of v16. Preferable v16 ofcourse. v14 had the option to allow linux clients but it didn't work.

Well you got v15 installed now, I think it's wise to install v16 now that you're busy with it anyway.
Perhaps that solves the problem. If nog post some logs/screenshots.

The only problem with v16 is that liunx doesnt recognize the dll file and that is a must have in v16. I put on my server and its just bloody awesome.

If a linux client manually installs the dll file, will they be able to join the server?

Linux clients don't need dll's. Just set oscare=true and nativespawn=false and they can connect.
You sure they got linux and not hacks? Linux players are quite hard to find, would be very odd if then suddenly there were 6 in one place.

But maybe UTDC somehow expects it to be there.

Yes they are linux players. How do i know. I work with them! I have seen their machines. Now as for the oscare=true and forcenativespawn-false. They are set to that, and still, the players cant connect.

Then you or them are doing something wrong.
How about posting some logfiles?
UTDC won't expect them to be there as UTDC won't do a bit when it's a linux client.
