Default #unrealadmin

Hey! #unrealadmin have a great channel in quakenet thre I got much help from knowledge people. However in irc.globalgamerscenter.net is it many UT99 and UT2004 players and clans so that should be nice if you could provide your exelent service there instead for in ETG who not have many UT people. ggc have a #ut with about 100 people and many can't as me, perform 2 network.

I guess that is the same for several of the people in #unrealadmin. I'd say if people want help, they know where to find it..

Why force people to join one specefic network if they can't manage to perform 2? Thought it should be a nice service by Unrealadmin to provide help in a network who support UT games who globalgamers does, there for we are there! Check it in and see what they do for us UT people!

ETG isn't the most stable of networks. Anyway, if there's any volunteers, why not form an unrealadmin channel there ?

Good suggestion! I can contribute with what I can and start up a channel as #unrealadmin if some knowledge people are willing to offer theirs help to people in ggc. Pizzaman, Yes I try to gather people and do things for the UT games series because I think it's needed to keep the interest up even when the game is some month old. UT99 and UT2k4 is a game who is so fun to play, but think people need some gathering place there they can find other people with same interest, not just for the game.

We used to be on another server, ETG, but there was only about 5 people in who were also on quakenet so as such it was pointless being on there.

There is most UT people in globalgamers, #ut channel have around 100 people. They have started #uthelp there but it's not as #unrealadmin. I think it should be good for the games of UT if Unrealadmins would provide a channel in globalgamers, it's a huge need for that. Many of the question I ask in quakenet #unrealadmin is for other people who is in globalgamers. Worth to check up the network!

If you are using size as a reference or reason, I know of UT clan channels on quakenet with more than 100 people in so that doesn't bode well for the main UT channel on that network.

No, I don't mean the size, I'm self in both #unrealnorth and #ut.duell who's huge. Mean that the network promote UT clans and players and provide very good service to us UT people as scrim, querybots for both ut servers as to TS server clan settings etc.

Quakenet has more UT players than any other IRC network and has done for about 5+ years.

Yes, quakenet is the biggest network, but globalgamers have couple of hundret now and they have done much for the game and us player and clans, that's worth much for me who support the game of ut and try to do things to keep up the interest for it and support players, clans and communities as good as I can. I appriciate every people, clan, network etc etc who is helping to do UT better, b*gger and nicer. sign up in www.ut2004tournament.com and suport our great game series of UT!

I don't think there is any point moving a majority of (happy) UT players away from Quakenet. Quakenet has 1000s of Unreal Tournament players, and pug channels, community channels and Clanbase channels there too.

GlobalGamersCenter as a network and also (in my opinion) as an administration couldn't cope, anyway.

Would be easier to get 200ish people to join quakenet, not the other way around.

We gave up IRC a long time ago to many nub admins installed spyware on there channels >>hack walhalla
The only thing usefull was for wars
but stopped that to because of the clanbase admins
to many conflicts and cheaters are protected by CB admins

I find that remark very offensive, no one is protected in ClanBase and confilcts are very low atm.
Try playing cups instead of ladders and if you have a cheater within CB contact me personally.

IRC is a good place to tie connections to other UT peopleand channels as #unrealadmins is one of the best places to idle in. You got personaly service, they answer your questions when they got the time and they are very knowledge! We are many who appriciate that service and hope they will increase it as well. We are many people who want to help with things so you can keep the nice good service and hopefully in other network to where you needs!
