Default Unable to spectate in demo

I seem to be unable to spectate in third person in any demo that was recorded with utpure7g, does anyone know how to fix this?

Demos recorded with older versions of utpure work just fine.. this is really annoying when making a movie and most of your clips are recorded with 7g.

Is there -ANY- way to work around this and make spectating work on my demos?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

(I'm using demomanager 3 and 436 version of UT.. windows2000 if that helps)

Is there any way to "disable" utpure in my demo so that it doesn't interfere no matter how buggy it would be?

If you reset

DemoRecordingDevice=

in your unrealtournament.ini to the default UT one ( DemoRecordingDevice=Engine.DemoRecDriver )

then it removes demo viewing bugs, but also means you lose the extended functions of demo managers (seekto, slomo etc)

A way to work around this is to use MovieUnreal which allows you to fast forward even with using the default UT demo player.

Well, this is no good since I want to use {GkC}Poemas newest movieunreal.. so a demo without the possibilities to do anything is rather useless to me

But thanks for trying anyway.

Other people feel free to give more suggestions

And that's probably why UTIII was a relative flop. New game, same sh*thead players ^^.
