MvReporter2
This is an enhanced version of Mavericks IRC Reporter v1.14 by [Mv]DarkViper, www.mvreporter.de
It's an experimental version for now so keep in mind there can be a lot of bugs.
Modifications:
- Secondary Link to decrease reporting delay.
- SuperWebAdmin compatibility.
- UTGL compatibility.
- BunnyTrack reporting scheme.
- few more small things

I got a litle problem with this new version of the reporter.
On my server i had not running an old version of the MvReporter, but i used to have the the MvReporter v1.1.
Well i though let's install this new version and see how it works, unfortunatly the server didn't want to start after install and reboot.
I did the following to install it:
I uploaded MvReporter2.u to the System dir on the server.
I updated the server unrealtournament.ini by adding: ServerActors=MvReporter.MvReporter to it. And i added the "basic" lines of the MvSetup "[MvReporter2.MvReporterConfig]" reporter chan, nickname etc.
I uploaded the new .ini file, and rebooted the server.
I did not enabled the webadmin yet.
Now here is the log of the server:

You could try typing ServerActors=MvReporter2.MvReporter under [Engine.GameEngine]

Well i found it funny that it wasn't mvreporter2. but it said mvreporter in the readme, so i did so.
Download MvReporter2 from link in Topic start and take a look at the readme. It says "2. Add the following line to your [Engine.GameEngine] section in UnrealTournament.ini ServerActors=MvReporter.MvReporter"
So it is a bit confusing

Hi Rush,
very nice work!!
I have one idea for a little new feature.
Can you add a public say command (!say "text") like the admin say command?
I think it would be a nice useful feature if players can talk to the server from irc.

hmm, maybeee, but it should be available only to voiced "+" People. Otherwise it might make a lot of mess.

But isn't it simpler if one can switch the function off when required?
For example at a clan war you can simple disable the public say.

somehow do the perform commands not work @ me.. probably i did something wrong, they are:
Perform1= /join #fd.live
Perform2= /msg #fd.live -] FireDevils' UT-ClanServer-Repoterbot provides you with information of the performances done @ unreal://213.202.196.195:7777 [-
Perform3= /notice kah Server restarted o//
they didnt work with mvr1.14 before either =\

As you already said yourself there is such a command available "admin say." And you can also talk on the server with the webadmin. Why than would you need another command to talk on the server? If you want some players being able to talk on the server give them the admin password so they can use admin say. Because i think a public command !say will gonna be abbused.

hi,
in the past i gave some players the bot addminpassw. for talking to the server.
but the password abused for bans and other things.
so i think a public "!say" is safer,than giving the adminpw. away.

however, if it's not too difficult it could be included, but you must be able to disable it as well ;o

three things can't leave my mind:
- two reporters for your viewing pleasure
- the not-so-infamous !say public comand (in a controled environment it pwnz)
- the new 1on1 pickup items messages (btw, i think that it only works when in DM mode, cause when in TDM 1on1 it seems not to be working)

Isn't it easier to give the two reporters a nick of the same length? That way all the info is properly aligned, is better for the eyes imho
