Default UTPure 7E Released

UTPure has been updated to version 7E with a host of new enhancments for the game:

Added:
- HitSounds should now work for Spectators (You can see damage the spectated player receives)
- Ability to automatically do screenshot at end of match.
- Mutate PureShowDemos (admins only) Shows what players are recording demos.

Changed:
- Warmup no longer displays silly message, and also Doesn't have the Flag issue in CTF
- PureAutoPause no longer counts down extremely slow.
- FindFlag should now work properly for spectators
- Various minor fixes

As always get the updated Pure here

, I changed the settings of my shockbeam so that it looks more like the ut2k4 one but now the new pure blocks those settings, that's really great

At least TNSe haven't forced FWS in UTPure main package ..... You know that 99% players don't like the new Pure ?

because of FWS?
I only really play sniper so it isnt a problem for me or any of our (big) communities, or the ig communities I would think.

FWS is probably forced to level the playing field as not everyone uses the bind :/ .

I m still looking for the possibility to -forbid- FWS (i.e. a delay between the throwweapon command and the weaponchange) .
Where's the use in not-forcing it when everyone can still use that stupid bind?

At the bottom of User.ini, there's a section for Pure7E, [UTPureRC7E.bbPlayer]

In that section, set the variable bDoEndShot to True. This will take care of it.

PS. For some reason, all my auto-taken SS are taken at the very last millisecond before games end. Did anyone else experience that ?

Got loads of this messages in my serverlog any1 knows why?

UTPure: 2004-08-06 21:37.41 UTPureCheat: *** (**.**.**.**) had an impurity (MT Failed Packagelog!)

UTPure: 2004-08-05 22:50.05 UTPureCheat: *** (**.**.**.**)had an impurity (MT Player Done!)

(MT Failed Packagelog!)= (what i think) that it cant log the packages(duh )
logs packages from a player and then the next game it doesnt and then its this >> (MT Failed Packagelog!)

And what is : (MT Player Done!) ??

Hi Guys I have a player trying to get on and he can't get in and is getting this message:

"cant find function in file function botpack tournament console print action message"
he never gets past the login.

Both are timeout messages. Most likely the player either disconnected, or lagged so much he didn't reply within a specified timelimit.

Should be able to play after a reconnect, and is not something suspect.

Seems to be a problem with the UTPG patches (?), afaik, most ppl have had no problems after a reinstall...

No he's on 436 so is the server. I'm at a total loss, ours is his favorite server. will getting his logs help?


*edit: Well he swore he didn't install any utpg patches, but reinstalling the 436 patch fixed him. Tx TNSe

Where getting Loads of Bad Time Dilation kicks, especially on certain maps. I was able to clear my cache and join, but on one map we had 14 people with the same thing. Someone came to me and asked what to do and I had them clear their cache, but it didnt work for them.

Maybe the map does things it should not have. Some mappers are overly creative, and do some 'cute' things which pure will not allow... This isn't meant to ruin maps, but prevents nasty things from happening, unfortunately I cannot test every single map out there... I suggest getting a mapper to fix the maps that are having issues..
