am i doing this right? this is how i have been puting skins on my server please let me know if im doing it wrong.


upload proper .utx, .int., .u files to proper folders.

edit the unrealtournament.ini file, edit the serverpackages:
serverpackages=(name of skin here)

thats what i do please tell me if im doing it wrong


Also, how do i get custom bots on my server, how do i add them and change their names like my client side UT? How do i do this?

That all looks correct as long as you are entering the correct serverpackage name. You edit the User.ini file to change the bot names and to assign them custom skins.

i'm trying to install skins to my server too... but i can only find the utx and ini files. am i missing something? do i have to make the u's myself? and if so... how?

Uh... I don't think there should be a .u for skins, only a .utx and a .int.

.int goes in the system folder and .utx in the textures folder, the name of the texture "FILENAME.utx" then goes in the UnrealTournament.ini (without the .utx at the end) like so:

ServerPackages=FILENAME

That's it...

And as for editing bots for online play, when you start a new multiplayer game, click the "Bots" tab, then click "Configure", you will then be able to fully customize the bots.

hmmm... but the only skin that was installed successfully to my server was one that i dled, and it came with a .u file... because i did write the files into the server, and have the int and utx files in the right places, but still no success, except for the one that came with a u file that is

If you have u file you have Another model installed and you need 2 serverpackages for 1 skin
You have 2 int files for a skin You need needs 2 serverpackages
