Coming Soon: Unreal Anthology
As seen on BeyondUnreal, and because we didn't have news since April first:
Quote:
Unreal® Anthology, scheduled to ship this fall for personal computers at a U.S. suggested MSRP of $29.95. Unreal Anthology will include:- Unreal® (including Return to Na Pali expansion pack)
- Unreal®II: The Awakening
- Unreal Tournament® (Game of the Year Edition)
- Unreal Tournament® 2004 (Editors Choice Edition)
|
So you'll be able to complete/fix your Unreal collection.

Now if they also bundled ut2007 along with it, what a selling point that would make.

UT (1999) = UnbelievableGameSoCoolIMustHelpBringNewPlayers Tournament
UT (2008) = Unreal ThrustMyPrivatePartsInYourFaceBish
And that's probably why UTIII was a relative flop. New game, same sh*thead players ^^.

I wonder if we will get lots of file Version Mismatch, on this release of UT when people join our servers.
Well it should boost UT player numbers I think.

That should peg which files are in need of work, though. Good thing.

i have a question. since this is official release then will ut be updated further than the 451 patch or will it be another lazy re-release of the old buggy crap that we still have to this day.

I'd put money on it being just a 436 Game of the Year re-release. I doubt it'll even be 451b.
If they do a 440 or higher release, though, let's hope that they fix UnrealEd's issues with those releases.

it will just be GOTY bundled inside, nothing else, since 440+ were unofficial releases nothing new except some new noobs in the community
