It's more than a editor. It's an IDE, there's a huge difference. Notepad is an editor, hardly comparable to studio IDEs like this or WOT Greal. IDEs offer the programmer much more control for things like syntax highlighting, class trees, package finders and much much more.

Frankly WOTgreal is a lot useful than VisualUC++ (sorry Joe ..)
