Hi.....

I was wondering...I have a dedicated server for UT, but will there be one also for UT3?? Does anyone know that, and what kind of system do you need to run the dedicated server (not the game, but the server)

There will be definitely be dedicated server versions for Windows and Linux.
I'm not sure about Macintosh though.

As always dedicated server versions will be free but I believe now that anyone who charges for a product with UT2 on needs to speak with Epic.

Have you heard of Jolt?

They sell clan servers with UT on
You buy a server from them because it has UT on

Epic I think want some pay back from this perhaps

That's a good thing...i have also a server, but it's free for everyone, i don't make money of it.....or out it...how do you say that

Anyway, tnx for clearing it up, i understand now.
And the same as fragger here, i run from time to time my own server but with not any money etc.
But im limited also.... i have a "low player" server, if you know what i mean. perfect for 1on1 or 2on2 matches.

Now before you ask i used to be admin for a server for Unreal1 but alas no more.
Also Can i have the realease date on UT3 ? (UT3 muhahahaa :sheep: )

You told me that you did not know anything of admin stuff, @ least not in UT, you didnt mention about other games.
