'Cause I can't seem to do it, nor has anyone given me any clues as to how to do it. Should I give up and install windows 98
Surely there is one among you who has gotten ngWorldStats to work on Windows 2000 pro? I could really use the help. I've installed all of the patches and the program will not auto execute. When I execute it manually I get exit code 2 with no files forwarded.

Please help!

Thanks
Z

Thanks for the suggestion. I have that downloaded already. It fixes the local issue but not the worldstats one.

If your behind a router or firewall, that would prevent them from working, but as far as fixing world stats, if you install UT GOTY & Then this patch, Worldstats will as is, as long as your not behind a firewall or router.

Thanks for the suggestions. I am behind a router and I thought I had all the necessary ports open. I opened 9999 as well. We'll see if this fixes it. One thing that bothers me though. It doesn't appear that Worldstats is even trying to upload the files. When I try to execute it myself it gives me an Exit code: 2 (fd_count=0). I know this means no files forwarded but does code 2 indicate?

It probably means there are no logs in the Logs dir. let the game run and get a few friends to get on it, then play a few games, and make sure all are using ngstats password, and check the id's, it the games show up, it's working, also you can use utwatcher or the ut browser to see the status.

My log files are full. I'm not sure about everyone using the worldstats though. I'll have to wait and see. I've also switched to windows 98 se and given my server it's own IP instead of using the router. If it doesn't work now I'll at least have narrowed down the possibilites.

Are you using GOTY edition? Stats don't work correctly if you install from the GOTY CD - it's missing some dll's. If that's the case, use the server only dl from epic.

That was the prob I had. Took me about a month to figure that one out.

do you have any logs in your "/UT/NetGamesUSA.com/ngWorldStats/Logs/"
if yes, try running "ngWorldStats.exe -d ../Logs -g UT" from "/UT/NetGamesUSA.com/ngWorldStats/Bin/" directory

batch_info.txt in "/UT/NetGamesUSA.com/ngWorldStats/Logs/" contains status of log uploads.
mine reads "Exit code: 99 (fd_count = 1)"
for each successfull log upload

I've got it working finally. I resorted to unsinstalling everything and then reinstalling it. First I installed the GOTY(both discs). Then I installed the 436 followed by UTBP4. Then I installed the mutators I would be using. This was followed by the ngWorldStats Patch for windows 2000. During this process I did not start UT even once. After I installed everything, I started UT as a dedicated server. WorldStats now works. Why? I dunno. Everything is the same as before except for the start up procedure. Go figure.
Thanks to everyone for taking time out of your day to help.
