Direct Input
I have a problem with direct input for ut99.
When i do quick sweep with my mouse,my shot is nowhere where i put it.
My shot will be half a screen away! gets real bad when 3+ players are in my screen.
Is there any fix for this?

thxs for the reply.but iv done that in the logitech window, when i first got this mouse(logitech mx-500). its not my mouse speed thats messing it up,its more like a heavy lag,or something.when this happens,it seems like nonzp with 500ping.it only affects my mouse and not my movement.

Try this patch to see if it makes a difference. Also try Opengl to see if there's a difference.

And that's probably why UTIII was a relative flop. New game, same sh*thead players ^^.

Acceleration is when the mouse pointer increases speed when you turn around instead of staying constant. Is UT lagging in any way. It sounds like there's something happening when there's a lot of action on screen.

let me guess - sort of feels like you 'have flat tires' or are on ice with that wierd response?
It's a common problem with the MX 500 and MX510 logitech mouse.. it can be fixed by installing this logitech patch:
Logitech MouseWare Advanced Settings Utility 1.1.0.1
I advise you to google it for yourself to be sure you get it from a trusted source.
