Serverkill

Isn't it illegal ppl to use those server kill mods? and if we find ppl using them on our servers can't we contact there isps? after all it is a form of a DoS attack we could even press charges on them am i right?

If you can gather enough "proof" about the attackers you certainly can go to thier ISPs with a complaint. I've actually gone to to several "suiciders" ISPs with a DoS. Most of the ISP responded quickly, pulled the persons connection for a day or so, and then put them on "probation" after they signed a "promise to be good note".

Yea but keep in mind serverkill and serverlag mods are much worst then that... that kinda stuff is like cheating.... not like i can call there isps and tell them they are cheating on my server.... All tho i could probly call them if the same person is evading bans...

I have noticed a few ppl in my server logs with it..... havn't seen them use it tho

Somebody put up a fake one on there server in order to have anybody trying to connect to their server who has the real one installed a version mismatch so that they cannot get on the server, I am guessing. I do not know which server but I have seen it in my logs as well from people I know, who had no idea it was in their packages and to top it off I found it in my personal cache as well so somebody is sending it out as a server package?
