Hi all,
i set up my new UT server and it's running fine.
the problem is i cant connect to the webadmin pages. when i send the request, the browser trys to load it, but then aborts and get a 404. I can only get to the Log-in box by chance ... may one time out of 25.
Even if i get it and send the user/pwd then it's the same story again. Finally i havn't seen it at all that way.
It has to work, 'cause it does while running as UT/Windows-Server
Has anyone an idea, what's wrong?

I've had lots and lots of trouble with the webadmin in the past. Now, tho, I've got browser bookmarks with URLs that all look like this:
http://loginnameassword@yourserver:5081/ServerAdmin/
It now works fine (except for the #$*%*$ console), but you have to make sure (for no reason I can figure out) that the '/' is at the end of the url. Hope it helps.

thanks, but that doesn't help, it the same story
i think it has somehow to do with the UT-Webserver. is there a way to "tweak" it?
here's an extract of my ini:
[UWeb.WebServer]
Applications[0]=INF_Admin.INFServerAdmin
ApplicationPaths[0]=/ServerAdmin
Applications[1]=INF_Admin.INFImageServer
ApplicationPaths[1]=/Images
ApplicationPaths[2]=ServerAdds.WebAdmin
ApplicationPaths[2]=/ServerAdds
DefaultApplication=0
bEnabled=True
ListenPort=2002
MaxConnections=30
ServerName=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
[INF_Admin.INFServerAdmin]
AdminUsername=xxx
AdminPassword=xxx
InfoRefreshTime=30
AppTitre=Infiltration Remote Server Administration
GameConfigData[0]=Class'INF_Admin.INFGameData0'
GameConfigData[1]=None
LastActiveSetting=0
AdminRealm=Infiltration Remote Server Administration
ConsolRefreshTime=30
LastActiveMap=DM-INF-Peru.unr
SPlayerLstTextClass=
SPlayerLstTitleClass=
Skills[0]=Trainee
Skills[1]=Private
Skills[2]=Corporal
Skills[3]=Sergeant
Skills[4]=Lieutenant
Skills[5]=Major
Skills[6]=Colonel
Skills[7]=General
Well, maybe this is more describing and someone of you can see something, that i don't. The xxx'es are of course not in my ini.
Thanks in advance.

If your server is Linux based and you have a kernel 2.4.x, UT webadmin has problems.
Go to The Admin page ( www.theadminpage.com) foruns and search for the work-arounds to solve that problem...
I've solved my problem using netcat.
Cheers,

hmm, i noticed that i made a mistake at "ServerAdds" in the script above. Solved that.
The webadmin's frameset is loaded now but thapages are empty so the problem is still appearant.
I allready knew the first link but never saw the forums there. So i'm sorry to have you disturbed.
Thanks
