I don't think it should be made public. Simply because people may take your work, update it a little and call it their anti cheat and keep it private. Naming no names of course.

Glad to see it released. Hope some one will put it to good use.
sony_scarface does it matter that much in this age?. I would hope it keeps it`s name.
Now it`s out, no doubt there will be custom private versions updated constantly. That is not a bad thing, you have the source so with some patience you can make your own version also.

You know, if you have a uscript AC, and pass it out publicly, there IS a way to make that one simple AC into a swarm of packages that it would be virtually impossible to beat without coming up with a totally new cheat. I learned how to do it from a video Zellius made years ago. And once you beat the new cheat, release the new ac, and bam, another swarm. Takes about a minute of you're used to doing it.

Hi Ticklemonster, nice to see you post here. I doubt that would work today but that's the spirit. As for this release, well, noone seems to be interested. It's kind of a let down really.

Unfortunately I don't really have any time to focus on this, or... as stated help document and explain the methods, etc. Just find myself too damn busy.
Anyhow, the whole idea of releasing this, was to help others. If no good comes of this, then so be it.

It would be nice if someone could pick this up, bring it up to date and could release it. Especially because UTPure7G seems getting quite old and doesn't support all gametypes and Mac's IIRC.
Unfortunately I currently don't have the knowledge, uscript skills and time to do this myself. I'm working on the knowledge part though. If anyone takes up the project and needs some help with testing I'd be glad to participate. I'll see if I can add something to the documentation project too.

Sorry for the silly question, but what type of anticheat is NBSP? Only against UScript hacks or also against native ones?
(Never played UT99)

Uscript hacks for UT99. Its main aim was to be compatible with all other mods unlike UTPure - hence the main option it was created. We had some ideas to stop native code but my team and I never got around to completing it (similar to TOST Protect).

Thanks for the great Anticheat NBSP. I have install the NBSP 109 on our UT and TO Servers and it works real good. On our UT servers also running the newest Anthchecker, UTDC, UT Pure. I have testing many cheats on our Server before installing NBSP. Some Cheats bypassed UTDC, UT Pure and Anthchecker. After installing NBSP i had no Chance to to play on the Server. Great work Suck.

The anticheat works wonderfully but I noticed a little hang-up that occurs when
a player leaving a server running NPloader to join ours is kicked for an unknown
cheat and lists NPloader as the reason. I was able to fix this problem by adding
it as an allowed package but I was wondering if there are any other issues like
this out there with other packages or is the really the only one?

It was the same problem that I was having. When a player plays on a server running NPloader, it stays running on his machine. When he disconnects from that server and joins yours, NBSP detects that it is still running and logs then kicks the person. They have to restart their machine and join your server straight away and this won't happen. To remedy the problem you need to login to a server running the NPloader and then type into the console obj linkers. This will pull up a list of all packages and the package info for everything running on your machine at that moment. Then you need to add this info for Nploader from that list to the ClientPackages line like below. This is what you need for NPloader12. When you get the info for NPloader13, can you hook me up with it? Have a good one.

just to clarify, its not just NPloader that stays loaded, its most files.
clients should really restart UT when switching servers, packages stay loaded from one server to the next and almost all anticheat now will check what you have running and compare it to the server, if its not on the server then it shouldnt be on the client.
