Important!!! >> Backup your Server.ini
^^^ ALSO IMPORTANT!!.. THE SERVER STARTLINE MUST START ON Map: DM-Tutorial & GameClass: Botpack.DeathMatchPlus
Extract MapVoteX101( version).u & MapVoteX101( version).int to your system folder.

Once the MapVoteX.ini has been Spawned locate and enter the following TestCode=MVX99994
^ This Testcode is needed in order to fully use the 'Beta' , without it MVX will be limited in it's capacity , and many of the Features will be disabled ;)
Stop the Server and make any changes to the MapVoteX.ini... Remember to enter the Testcode above

GameStartVoteDelay=1 Do you really want to wait for 15 seconds to Open MVX?
VoteTimeLimit=50 How long before the Vote should be passed?

RepeatLimit=0 if you want your clients to play different maps then use this to prevent Map Whoring [0]=Disabled
bMajorityPlayerVote=False New System which Auto accepts votes once majority of players have voted.If set to True then will waiit for timer.. also if a vote is indecisive it will cancel the vote altogether
bUseCustomGameMapLists=False only enable this if you are unable to use Custom Folders
bEnableServerPackages=True for Advanced Admins only , if you don't know what this is for then leave set to False!.
^Note: If Enabled then a New MapVoteXD.ini will be Spawned.. also all Actors/Packages from your Server.ini should be automatically copied across to MVXD.ini
bShowWelcomeFirst=True during Mid-Game voting should players see your Awesome Custom Welcome-Page first?
DefaultCustomGameNum=0 On Server Hard-Reset , which GameType / Number would you like loaded by default?
ServerGamePassword= Only use this for Protected Private Server's (one's with passwords)
ServerIpAddress= MVX will try and detect your IP/Port by Default, however if behind a NAT or other tricky system config manually enter here. <IP:PORT>
MaintenanceServerName=YourServer>Maintenance Mode Name of Server whilst in Maintenance Mode.
MaintenancePassword=WorkingOnIt the Password which the server will use whilst in Maintenance Mode.
DefaultMutators= all your Default Mutators usually loaded through the [Startup-Line]

unfortunately no .. we have discussed this .. on numerous occasions.. however I have warmed up to this new Concept.
and Don't think that it will cause your servers to loose players.. in fact they seem to stay longer with it in place
The way it is ATM.. is .. you first pick a GameType .. and then the Server Switches to that GameType.. and loads all Maps for that GT.
This System seems to also keep players focused more on the current GameType.. before switching to Another Type.

Almost like the idea I had in mind but... a little different. I thought: Being able to pick any gametype and the map for it.

This feature would be good agreed.. even as an optional would be better.
I really like the way it is atm.. BUT being able to click on a Gametype and have the Maps for it load in the list Agreed
would add another dimension to it.
however I much rather allow admins to have the 'Option' to choose Either/Ither if this method was ever incorporated.
Unfortunately atm it is not in the works so we have only the Current System, I have been informed that this could cause lag and issues
much like being an admin and reloading maps mid game.. in MVLA13.. everyone lag's..
there are other Private MapVote systems which can do these things... Dizzy's one and Gusts One.. are 2 off hand.
Both Private and not likely to become public any time soon unfortunately.

RE: Animated logo , Goto first post and click on "Subscribe to Our Channel" I have enabled a Tutorial for doing this.

first watch the 'Cooltext' clip , then the 'Animated logo' one..
see how you go ..

I'll assume you have a logo, you need to make the image size to meet the
required size for MODOSUtils(read the readme)
Once that's done you need to make a copy(s) and edit it as if it was the next
frame in a movie. Because in a sence it is. Each copy will be just a little
bit different. The more the frames the smoother the animation will be.
Just remember the more frames you have the larger the texture size will be to
Name each frame with at least 4 letters and a number combo (xxxx#.pcx)
and in order....logos1...logos2...logos3..ect.
Colors.. Each frame/image needs have only 256 colors/or indexed mode.
In PSP it's in the menu > Color > Decrease Color Depth > 256.
In Adobe Photoshop it's > Image > Mode > Indexed Color...
Save all the frames as a .PCX format.
OK UED time Open up UnrealEd, and make sure your in the texture browser.
Import the frames you just made. Menu > File > Import.
Select all the frames at once. You will get a small window asking you to name
your texture with three text fields.
In the first one name your texture. Leave Group blank if you want,
Name just leave alone, check the "Generate Mini maps" box. And hit OK to all.
Once they load open the first frame...logos1.pcx, right click it and hit
propreties. And little window will open, hit Animation > AnimNext when the
field highlights type logos2 and hit use. Do this for all the frames in order
to the next frame, with the last frame pointing to your first frame or logos1.
The MaxFrameRate controls how fast you want it to animate.
You'll know if you've done it right if the little pic in the properties starts
animating.
Save it. Now you'll have an animated logo

Design up your Logo's now , because when this thing comes she's coming like a Tornado and "Will Rip up Everything Out there" , I promise you that.
(*And I don't make promises ever) ~ That's how confident IAM in this System
Here's a Hint..
~ Make a different logo for each GameType....
also these can be.. 256*128 or 128x64 or.. 512x512
if you want your logo to be Transparent then it needs a solid BackGround
like black/White/<any color>.. Not Sure About gradients yet..
~ Also note.. that the image-names in UED are CaSeSeNsiTive ,
Although they Display in [CAP's] in UED.. ie;
Open c:\unrealtournament\Sounds\Announcer.uax
Open through the [sounds] Browser.. in UED > "Speaker Icon" or Something I think... Announcer.uax
when you click on a sound inside the package.. you Notice at the top of the Browser Window.. the Name Changes?
ie; Announcer.prepare ~ this is the 'Prepare for Battle' sound Effect.
When MapVote-X is available .. you can set both the "SplashLogo=YourAwesomeLogo" && "SplashSound=Announcer.prepare" to Load on Player Entry.
also to save Questions later there is a bTransparent=True Option for See Through Logo's.

I did saw a few server that have music start up. Been awhile since I see what was the mod that does this (so I forgotten :/) How about mapvote to let us select sound (or a 5-10 sec music) for each different gametype?
