Add "Speed Hack" to "Reason" section
Could you add "Speed Hack" to the reasons section for bans? Currently I'm using "Other" but I'm sure "Speed Hack" would be good to use as other admins may wanna ban Speed Hackers but not all the "Other" possibilities.

That might not be such a good idea (for applying a ban I mean) as a few players have reported that they've been wrongly identified as using such a hack. Apparently what triggers this false positive in those cases with AntiTCC was a lossy connection.

anti tcc is not reporting this, it is a built in UT2k4 security feature that isn't working very well, anything from force respawning to packet loss and connection lag will trigger the "speed hack dectected" warning, which is total BS !!

I'm not talking about "False Positives" that the UT2004 security was bugged with. I'm talking about a catagory for Speed Hackers If you get a demo or watch a player going Mach 1 in a server capping flags, you know he's a speed hacking cheater and not some random connection issue or false positive

I'm still getting false positive "Speed Hack Detected" errors when my connection goes awry. I certainly wouldn't want to be labeled as a botter, (especially considering I'm such a crap player.)

I think you can remove those lines from the server ini to turn it off.
3 lines of text in the ini:
[Engine.LevelInfo]
MaxTimeMargin=1.000000
TimeMarginSlack=1.35
MinTimeMargin=-1.000000

Basically, I only ban (using UTAN) people who speed hack that I catch in a demo. Obvious speed hackers

Thanks Moose...I have a horrible DSL connection, and since the release of version 3236, almost every single game I play, at one point or another, I am getting false speed hack detections while being warped. Didn't happen on version 3204.

Actually, you do not remove those lines. You need to specify:
MaxTimeMargin=0
in order to turn OFF speedhack detection. If you remove those those lines, speedhack detection reverts to default levels (meaning it is active).

actually you are all wrong speed hack is ana absolute glitch in ut the programmers ruined it by accident it is suppose to detect when a person is actually speed hacking(cheating to move faster in a server) but they messed it up and what it is doing is if you have a fast connection or a really shit connection (extremes) then the server reads it as your pc is moving faster then the server in turn stopping or variantly slowing you down until the problem is fixed which is why when it comes up you cannont move as normal... so there is no way to fix this it is not a hack and a true hacker will never get caught guaranteed trust me anyone who gets caught is a wannabe i know a guy(wont say names like it would help you hes too good) that has cheated since the old days of quake never got caught once he even plays on wormbos servers in ut all the time never has got caught but the noobs that make it obvious are gay he has it set to key bind so it only happens right when he kills then he immediately cuts it off hahahahah youll never catch him hes too good... sorry but a true hacker cannot be cauht no matter what guaranteed

First, they are talking about UT2k4, not UT, second, the speedhack "bug" was fixed a long time ago, third, did'nt you notice this thread was from 5 months ago?
