Possibility with IP Ranges
Quick (kinda) story and question.
A player has been banned from a group of servers due to using botting software. After he's banned he disappears and comes back as another name and he's caught yet again. He figures he'd try one more time and is caught.. again. The first 3 times he's caught because he announces who he was. So, here again a player comes along from his exact same hometown, state and IP range and ISP host. He is banned due to radaring (clearly), but in fighting the ban it's brought up that all his information looks suspicious. He claims he's been around forever (though never seen anywhere until recently, his stats even show it) and refuses to acknowledge any of his old aliases from pevious UT games.
So.. here we are again. A fifth person has shown up with the same hometown, state, IP range and ISP host. Clearly not botting, but his information is suspicious.
What are the chances that, in this game with a clearly small community that plays it (UT3), that this is the same person STILL trying to avoid his ban?
