Default Automation of global ban submission

The reason I haven't submitted any entries for global bans is because of the tedious process necessary for an admin to submit them. I have several that have been on my "ah, I'll get to it tomorrow" list for a while now.

Most of the information is already in the database. A link could be provided to submit a request for the ban you're currently viewing to be a global ban. That would take you to a form where you could upload the full log file and fill in any missing information and submit. It would reduce the cutting and pasting necessary at the very least, and hopefully encourage more submissions.

This was already discussed: The submission must bve done manually so you as an admin are forced to review the ban information.

Yeppers, I also submitted that some time back also.

Wormbo, I really think we server "admins" do a good job reviewing that info when we enter that info into our UTAN accounts and upload the evidence. From that point, we could have a button to automatically then submit that info for a global ban. Its not as if a serious mistake did occur, that it could not be corrected.

How bout reviewing the thoughts on that again. plz plz plz

Whoops, sorry, I wasn't aware of that. I did several searches for the topic but couldn't find any. Was it a long time ago?

Yep, glad you brought it back up. It shows others are thinking along the same lines.

Thanks
