Question Waiting for other players... No bots entering???!!??

Yup... The title pretty much says it all...

The bots don't enter the game at the start... Everything was working fine yesterday, I've not changed anything and all of a sudden there are no bots coming in the game...

I use ASC and I've checked all the settings, I've even tried different ammounts of bots to come on... But I've got nothing

Please help...

Check tournament mode and your levels of minplayers and maxplayers. That's about all I can think of. I had this problem on my LAN and I just removed the UnrealTournament.INI and let it recreate one and that fixed it...but that isn't a feasible course of action with a server as far as I know.

Ok for a test, I tried it, moved my old unrealtournament.ini out of the system folder, as you said the server would create a new one... And it still doesn't work.

At least we now know that this isn't a problem that can be fixed through ut.ini

All I get is the "Waiting for other players" screen, no bots. Nothing.

EDIT
----

We now also know that the problem isn't an ASC issue because I've just installed the latest version and there's still no difference... THIS is a strange issue.

Make sure Tournament Mode is set to false on the CONTROLLER tab.

Also check your INI for this heading:
[Botpack.DeathMatchPlus]

Then find the value "NetWait". What is it set to?

Trust me guys, never delete your unreal.ini...

Because, if you do, what will happen is simple, your system creates a new one, where all the settings are lost, then you try to do a system restore but it fucks up so you get frustrated and throw your coffee at the monitor, the monitor blows up and sets fire to the table so you run downstairs to get a fire extinguisher and run back upstairs only notice that the entire room has been set on fire, so you try to fight the fire but it doesnt work and you get pissed off even more, so you run downstairs to ring up 999 but the operator doesn't speak very good english so you get frustrated and throw the phone about the room... Then you hear the dog barking from upstairs it seems to be trapped in the fire, run back upstiars to try to save the dog but it's too late you watch it burn while some dumb shit from outside is chanting "boom, headshot" so you run downstairs to kick the hell out of this dude, but it doesn't work, you get your arse kicked and end up with a broken nose. So you've lost your dog, you have a broken nose, the phone's fucked and doesn't work and you've lost your computer and your entire house has burned down. So trust me, don't EVER delete your unrealtournament.ini.

Hahaha, no only joking, just remember to back up. Problem sorted, thanks Matt.
NetWait was set to "10", Tournament was "True" even though I didn't tick the box in game... But I changed it to False and changed NetWait to 1.

Seems to work now...

NetWait (I believe) is the count in seconds to wait for incoming players before starting a match.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong though.
