I brought this topic up already here (http://www.unrealadmin.org/forums/showthread.php?p=56447#post56447), but the thread kindof died due to new version/thread of UTDC.
The most important question: Are there any cheats that really fake the OS and bypass the latest version (1.6b ATM) of UTDC when OSCare is enabled?
Any comments on this post (http://www.unrealadmin.org/forums/showpost.php?p=58101&postcount=71) by LeeBe?
Secondly, are there any hooks and the like for linux/mac clients?
Ie. can we trust real linux/mac clients with only UTPure?
To Troublesone:
And third, would it be possible to make a future version of UTDC perform md5 checks on linux/mac clients too?
A md5 check on UTPure and other files on all platforms would be a good thing. Like we'd have a Windows only section where we'd put the UTDC dll. It's better than not checking at all.
Any comments appreciated, I'm a linux user myself and find this issue very important. Thanks.
