Well, It's that time of year again, and the Holidays have once again snuck up on us.
...And to help us get through the Holidays, there is an abundance of alcoholic beverages, and there are also several really nice "Christmas themed" maps out there to ease our minds and de-stress us from the normal everyday drudgery of the gruelling holiday season...Just kidding about the Christmas Maps folks, as a matter of fact, I haven't even seen "one" Chrismas map yet :(
I will be truly saddened if not one of the many talented mappers out there has the time to donate a great Christmas map to UT2003 community this year. I guess I'm just one of those Sappy Server Admins that would like to run at least 2 or 3 good looking Christmas Maps for the holidays. Remember last year when the community came through with several nice UT Christmas maps......Sigh.
I will even do my part and start working on a Christmas Tree "brush" that I will make available to anyone that wants to use it in their map. I'll load it up with lots of blinking lights and ornaments, and if possible, I'll even try to add a switch with it so players can change to different holiday tunes from within the game.
This is your chance to help Gaussian stop drinking :) So c'mon! Just do the right thing ...break out that UED3 and start making that beautiful Christmas map that you know you really wanted to make anyway ;)
