UT Server Problem

What would keep someone from connecting to my server? They say when they click on it, it just sits there and then says that it failed to connect. and on my servers log it says that a connection timed out after 120 sec. Any input would b very helpful.

There are a lot of things that might cause this. More information is needed in order to even start guessing.

How your server is connected (e.g. thru some sort of router to DSL).? It could be a firewall issue.

What OS are you using? It could be the OS built in firewall.

Is just this person or is it everyone? Could be the person's using Mac or Linux or old Version.

Are you using Pure or have you done any of the advanced aimbot protection stuff in the tutorials here? Could be the persons files don't match the ones you protected (because its a Mac or for other nefarious reasons...)

What patch level of server are you running? Could be that the person is running an older version of UT and can't connect to the newer patched server.

Well there some starting questions and related problems. Let's go from there.
