View Full Version : Problems with hit's sounds & UTPure RC6E

Hi all,

I want to enable the sound when a player hit another player, same teame or not (SniperArena activated). This is two options of UTPure:

bHitSounds=True
bTeamHitSounds=True

in System/UTPureRC6E.int.

I have found the same variables in System/UnrealTournament.ini file, in section [UTPureRC6E.UTPure] and I have make true these too.
Nothing of that seems to have success...
From the console, the value returned with the commands:

admin get utpure bhitsounds
and
admin get utpure bteamhitsounds

are true.

Every help are appreciated. Thanks.... (sorry for the poor English...)

My best guess is that you are running the 451 patch. The 451 patch screwed everything up for me. It doesn't like Pure. Or Pure doesn't like it.

Don't hold me to this!

Trying it out on a 436 version to see if your settings work there will tell you whether or not it's the 451 patch.

Hi donjski,

I'm running the 440 patch, but I have also tried the 436, like you say.
After my post, I have discovered that the sounds works fine with "all weapons" mode, but not with the "ZeroPing-SniperArena" mod, "SniperArena" too.
I'm trying to configure a Sniper's Arena Server for my clan, then I need both features.

Sorry to pass the buck here, but I think that you will get better answers here http://forums.utpure.com/ They designed it, so they should have an answer for you.
