Hi,
This isn't exclusively a Windows 98 problem as someone using XP got the same message (unless it popped up for a different reason ...). My guess is that there's some problem being caused by what's in the cache folder as the user in question managed to get onto the server after emptying his cache and doing a manual install.

i did a manual instalation of UT and it didn't crash, althought i used one of the tools that re-create UT install settings in windows registry :)

i cant join servers with Qval111 with my Win98se but can with my XP
i used the UTregfix and it didnt worked for me, it tried installing Qval manually and by server
dunno what to do else, when i try and join a Qval111 server i dont get an error it just closes my UT

Your log file will probably give the same message as the one that was on the screeny, but maybe you could check that. It's called UnrealTournament.log and is in your UnrealTournament/System dir.
