It checks every message for a string "teams". If found the teams are ballanced.
Also it can be done with "mutate et" or "mutate balanceteams" command.
When Tournament mode or a non TeamGame is detected, TeamBallancer automatically disables itself.
The additional feature is to totally block manual team changes.

This thing is very useful, and people just love it :)

But there is one thing that I would like to see added to it: Our servers are public, and sometimes I want as many as possible of our members to be on one team against the rest (while still keeping the teams balanced).

I think it would be cool if it could look at the names of the players that are present when the game starts, and then try to put all players with a certain combination of characters (clan tag) on the same team, as long as that does not conflict with the total number of players (if there are too many clan members, then some of them will be on the other team).

Some mutate command to turn this on and off would be great, and maybe also a command to move the players mid-game.

I have no clue if this is actually possible to do, but that has never stopped me from asking lol

Hey Pizza, One of my scripter already made this Mod....get with me on MSN, and I will give it to ya ;)

We use it during clan wars and scrimages :P

Me asking for stuff again..

The teambalancer works great, but I think it should also stop people from switching teams manually. Some high fraggers do that alot, and then the teams get totally messed up.

Would be great to have this included as an option :thumbup:

I would realllllly love to have "no manual team change" added. I have recently started a CTF server, and what I see now is that some players change team to make the game last longer, and that screwes up the result totally.

Please consider it :)

have u changed the settings ?

It works for me ... testing only with one player.

I Am Looking For A mutator which will show message like " Team Is Unbalance " but wont force to balance team automatically. When we play PUG most of the time ppl forget to check TEAMS. if there any mut. like that will help us alot.

Is teamballancer supposed to have an ini file that is the exact contents of our ut.ini file?

i think theres no chance to get it run on a Tactical Ops 2.2 server, isnt it ?

i get following message on server.log if someone enters "teams"
