What do you think of it. Also if you have any feature requests or remarks, let me know.

If it has all files from the old section it will be good. However I still prefer the old phpnuke. :)

Need to sort those out. It's quite a mess.

It is very simple and FTP-ish. Fine by me. Good job as always.

Some more Unreal files should be nice.

Why to provide a new download section is it isn't even finished yet ? :rolleyes:
No ability to upload files and almost no files from the old download section moved.

Call me old fashion, but I like the old download section better :P

Because the download system of vbPortal is unable to perform certain things (like host large files (4+ MB)).

Anyway, an upload feature is on my feature list (just like a shit load of other features).

Some apache mod_rewrite magic and a lot of PHP code.

All being written by me.

howsabout picking up where the other section failed - do descriptions (or allow user submitted descriptions) of the files with no info...

that is also on my feature list

Personally i hate this new downloads section.. i still use the forum one.. bcoz u cant read what each thing does... Its just a link to teh downloads site.. maybe a comment would make it better

yea sure its good... nice to keep it seperate from other things, but i think the most visible one is in the forums, but this is good

Looks great. I prefer a simple ftp style layout such as this. Can you log in via a ftp client?

Considering the other one was forum based how can you say that?
As downloads were posted in threads the entire thread can be full of descriptions ...

Azazel, I read that and was thinking the same thing. I figured he was talking of some other download section though. lol
