Windows 7
Haven't played UT for a very long time and thought I'd get back into it and bought a download copy.
After reading a hell of a lot of peoples problems with playing online with windows 7 64 bit, I still haven't been able to find a solution. There are a couple of servers that will let me play, but the majority instantly kick me off with an error of Cannot Export Music or something similar. As populated servers seem quite limited, it would be good to get onto all the ones that remain. I've read about ACE and the work done, but from my understanding this is something that only the server needs to download? Any help much appreciated. |

At the moment there are only 2 or 3 servers that I have found that don't crash.
Don't suppose there is a list that is compiled of Windows 7 compatible servers? At the moment it's just trial and error and as 90% of them crash my computer it's a bit soul destroying |
100/100 ACE servers are compatible win seven.
It's probably you. If you crash post your screen crash. But before that allow UT in you firewall and antivirus. Set your netspeed player hight. Here sommes optimised ini http://unrealtournament.99.free.fr/u.../WarConfig.rar last update 02/20/14 |

yeah I have no issue with win 7 64bit or windows 8 or 8.1 64bit
your most likely missing the 4.36 patch and updated renders. OR your install is bad. did you install from disk? disable UAC as well |
Actually, just make sure you don't install the game in an access-restricted place like "C:\Program Files". Put it in a new folder directly in C:\ or on another drive. UT, like many pre-Vista games, expects to have full access rights in its install folder.
