as a server admin how are you guys notified of possible/confirmed cheat catches from ACE? is there a way to be notified by email or do you just manually check your logs daily?

I (at the moment) manually check the server for logs, copy them to my own computer and let a perl script upload them all to my website. Ofcourse this could be automated to directly upload them from the server and if you can write a script you can do virtually anything you have to with the logs.
I think (haven't tested it) it would be possible to use the utstats UTDC logviewer to watch the logs, in config.php change $import_utdc_log_start = "[UTDC]"; to $import_utdc_log_start = "[ACE]"; Maybe more changes have to be made though, I didn't fully explore this option.

solved, for some reason i had the hires textures installed in that ut install, overwrote all textures, and the problem is gone, so 451b works now for me too

An option for localized aswell as global ban system will be implemented on a larger scale with web support in upcoming versions.
There's allready a working redundant (.eu/.us ) global network for ban management being used for public UT servers.

My server is still crashing at mapchange although all ACE files have been reomoved. Did ACE change some values or so?

It doesn't alter any files, so if you reverted to old config and removed the files that came with the beta package it should work.

Crashs have gone after removing all files and all config lines
I really hope you'll fix the map-switch crash in the next version, otherwise I can't install it

I was yesterday kicked from tammy server , and the error was missing file : engine.u
I find it weird becouse , just before , i played 2 maps , one on idom server and another on publick ictf one. ( wthe whole time without turn of UT , only minimized , if i reacall well )
Anyone had this problem?
PS: I was able to play after shutdown UT .

And i think is weird though

Player kick when we make a screnshot manually
when you make a screenshot on a player. It may happen that we want to make a screenshot just to check if the player has a cheat. This will undo a better command to kick the player manually than automatically. For if the screenshot shows nothing is stupid kicked the player.

There are cheats that actually cleans the screenshots, so just because you can't see it doesn't mean it's not there.

This issue seems to have been resolved with an updated version of the IPdrv.
It's undergoing testing at the moment, and so far it looks good.
