Yep, that function is called if you have aiming help enabled and almost noone has that enabled since it's pointless in online games, why it's never been added really.

I installed this on a test server and am having some problems. I have included a screenshot of my batch file. I installed it and added the server package, I already had UTDC 2.1 on the server and can connect to other UTDC plus servers with out an issue. I added the lines that I needed to to my ActionMan.ini and it kickes me for a failed integrity check. When I pull the log, it tells me the reason is "file not found" but the file it is looking for is in both the server and the client System folder. It is flagging the NPloader1.2Tf and I downloaded the file from my server and made sure I had the MD5 in the Actionman. I noticed that between both downloads above that there were 2 different MD5s for that file, I tried both.

The different MD5s are because it's different files.

One is UTDCPlusv12Tf.dll, the other is UTDCPlusv12T.dll

Are you sure you unzipped all system files from the new zip to your server?

@ Krazy, v1.2f has an updated NPInfo_v13.u file and I see that you're running a windows server. Did you forget to shut down the server while uploading the files by any chance? The windows server keeps the .u files open while it's running and as a result you cannot replace any of these files unless you shut it down.

Are you talking about shutting the game server down, or windows its self? I did not shut windows down, just the game server.

I will try shutting down windows and reinstalling the UTDC plus. I figured it had to be something really simple.

Yes Krazy i saw it one time, i think you need to shut the server down
after remove all the version of NPloadder and UTDC plus from your server .ini and re-install the new version only to add the nploader like this in your server.ini file.

ServerActors=NPLoader_v13c.NPLActor

after restart your server and The server will auto-install all the packages.
but dont forget before to remove all old version of UTDCPLus and NPloader m8.

I can confirm random crashes since version 2T - General protection fault like shown earlier. The crash logs didn't seem to be connected to utdc, but they started to occur since we upgraded and this basicly is the only thing that changed. I've heard the same story from another serveradmin. Haven't had a crash anymore since we downgraded to 2S.

Even if the crash log doesn't seem to be related to UTDC, it's still needed so the author can see what is going on. Maybe it is UTDC maybe it isn't, until then nothing can be done because no one knows what's going on.

Ok i got screenshots from crashes i had with a different utdc+ 2Tf server. They occured at different people after 1 crashed, which happened after 18min of playing. The others crashing happened after the game resumed - after a random amount of seconds. The game was on a server that limek admins, so he should be able to access the server log.


First crash, after x sec when game was resumed.


Second crash, directly after restarting ut and rejoining the server.

All happened in a row. Sometimes I crashed as soon as I hit the connect button. Also crashed again and again. What seemed to help for some reason was restarting PC. Also when I tried to connect to another server that has also v12Tf on I did not crash and could even go back then to the previous server without crash.

I'm running VISTA 64, in case that's related.

Hope this can be fixed soon, from the installation this seems the most playerfriendly version ever.

I've had no problems running this version , it runs nice. I'm also on Vista 64 , Alltho this version isnt stable so im told.

Two things looks strange to me:

- The path on this errors look wrong "\" instead of "/"
- This look like a server log, maybe he tested to run a server using his ut client.
If yes, he should try to remove the server settings from his ut.ini.

Or maybe post his UnrealTournament.ini (dont forget to remove passwords or admins binds on it)

Someone correct me if i'm wrong.
