Sadly its a known bug and i can't fix. I could add a small check, what will disable some functions while your connected on a server, but then your browser will not work correctly.
The best is, to ignore this kick and dont open the browser while you are on a AS server. I think the most AS- admins/xbrowser players know this "bug" already.

quite possibly , edit cshp and add the xbrowser to the accepted list of addons?
but yes is correct disable cshp serverside using above setting.

Not a problem (G)ott. I just know that many users out there dont know how or feel to intimidated to mess with their own UT99 install directories. Having an easy/less hassle click install makes the end user feel much more comfortable and more likely to use your Mod.

Maybe if a person would send some $$$ to the people who create and those who help with the mods. They might be more inclined to help. Most of those people create a mod only to have a boat load of people crying about how they can't get it to work. Or that it needs this and that. Sending them even a little cash would show some appreciation for all they do for the UT community.

Maybe open a section here called "Modders for Money", "Mappers for Money", "Coder for Cash", "Cashing Coders", "Coden 4 Cash"
There are times when I wanted or needed something and was willing to pay to have it done for UT. I think those that have learned the skills to provide for us who don't have them would not be wrong to charge for services rendered.
I also agree it may bring in a lot interest again to making new things. I wish there could be a way to standardize processes that everyone would use to ensure cross-coding support but I know that's too much to ask. This is all getting done already by people but they are burning out from all of the work. Ever seen a mapper that didn't eventually freak out? I bet if they got paid they wouldn't freak out at all! It is so much work for mappers and coders that I'd be all for paying them to provide good work to me. Good idea nighttripper.

sounds like someone building servers for a bunch of ungrateful players who just bitch and moan because there score wont reset of the server has ZP installed , or its has this new HUD which looks different to the std one imo.
why would someone invest so much time and energy into something and pay for it out of their own pocket just to have Whine spilt all over it?..
Passion. I guess.. even if it is slowly being desolved by the Virus in which plagues the UT community over-all.
btw: the Bitches/whiners/Moaners now play newer games like COD/BF2 and SecondLife .... Probably even Sims IV "Gay guys in Love" .

Hey (G)ott seems I found a bug/limitation, in open location seems current version only accepts ips and rejects hostnames. For example when I input the follow address:
rhinokills.servegame.com (from here: http://www.unrealadmin.org/forums/sh...770#post165770) in IP it says that the ip is invalid which is true, but it should have a way to resolve a hostname to an ip.

It's a intended limitation, because i haven't found a function to check hostnames and it was (for me) not needed so far.
I will add this in my TODO, but i don't know when i will continue to work.

Not exactly, the original browser (open location tool) accepted anything you enter. Just UT says later "Connection failed". I would like to have something on the OL window, what say "Oh, something is wrong here"
e.g.:
"a.host.com" is valid
" [email protected]" should be invalid
"oneword" should be invalid
"something with spaces" should be invalid
...
For php are nice snippets, but i can't convert it into ut script Link
