Works great so far. Just loaded it up, and I have the logs saved in on my web server automatically.
www.skillzservers.com/logs
Now I just need to create a little php script that will arrange these by date.

Well I found a php script that will do almost what I want already. Good enough for me for now I suppose.

If you decide to make another version ( ), could it write the server name and IP at the beginning of each map? Sometimes I have problems figuring out which server the log file is taken from. I usually look at the IRC reporter log to do that.

It already does write the server name...
As for the IP - yeah I could put that in fairly easily.

Oh, I get you. No problem.
Any other thoughts for additions while we are here?

Cant think of any additions right now, but there is one thing -
The map DM-1on1-MokumX have jump pads that causes this:
ScriptLog: [ChatLog][2006-07-08 17:40][System]:
ScriptLog: [ChatLog][2006-07-08 17:40][System]:
ScriptLog: [ChatLog][2006-07-08 17:40][System]:
ScriptLog: [ChatLog][2006-07-08 17:40][System]:
ScriptLog: [ChatLog][2006-07-08 17:40][System]: Hawaii Is A HeadHunter
ScriptLog: [ChatLog][2006-07-08 17:40][System]:
ScriptLog: [ChatLog][2006-07-08 17:41][System]:
Every time you use the pads, there is an empty line in the log. I think the old chatlog wrote 'critical event' there.
Can you make it not write empty lines like that? There are hundreds of them each time we play that map.

Think you can get it to do directories for the dates?
For example, all logs on the month of Janurary will fall in ../01, that is then divided by dates with subdirectories, so a log on Janurary the 25th would be
../01/25/[ChatLog].2006.07.05.05.10.00.JB-Baras.htm
That would make organizination a heck of a lot easier.

No. Creation of directories would require native code, which goes back to the reason I created this thing in the first place.

I want a client side chat logger that will load up all the time. People said it can't be done, but if demo manager can be set to do it, why can't a chat logger?
why? so if I use hidden admin to get keybinds, I don't have to enable chatlogger real quick

XConsole is a clientside mod that you set to record all chatlogs, deathlogs, and pretty much anything you want.
