Default Looking for a mutator that gives rewards after a kill

Hi all

Been playing on a server that has some mutator installed that rewards you with health when you frag someone. Sometimes, the fragged player will also drop a keg, shield belt or the invisible.

I have asked on the server a million times for the name but no one seems to know

I'm sure someone here will know

Thank you admin for replying. I looked at all of them and it doesnt any are the ones I'm after. Wish they would just tell me on the server!

You get 20 health for every frag up to 199 health. Fragged players sometimes drop rewards like shield belt or the keg.

I'll keep looking but please let me know of any other possibilities.

Playerie-
There are a few mutator combonations that will make this possibke for you. For the power-up drop you want to use;

Pinata -

I also believe a mutator called DMEnhanced or EnhancedDM also has something to this effect but it's been quite some time since I've played these types of DM games

You could write one... It's most likely based on using MutatorTakeDamage or even PreventDeath (just return False). If using PreventDeath, use the damage types or conditions you want to use for giving the bonuses. They can be based upon Instigator and Victim.

You should bust him a generic one out CPan. I think a well-optioned one would be handy on multiple servers.

I would LOVE to be able to knock something like that up.
Sadly I have zero UT coding (scripting?) experience. Always willing to learn though

The original code on the tombstones was Dane's but I carried a version forward into RedeemerMania:

The source code is in the download if anyone wants the tombstones (models, code, skins, etc). I think today I'm going to make this mod and include a bunch of options into it since it stirred some interest. If you want any options included you can reply here or drop me a line privately for your own specific version reward/options and I'll change the base mod for you. I'll try to have a version done by this evening as I already did a reward mod base a while back for sniper maps that gave you extra for long- and very long-distance sniper kills. I'll just start adding options and see where it goes for everyone.

Add:
I worked for about an hour this morning and got the base code set up. It's entirely optional, everything can be configured off/on and with whatever settings you want to use. So far I've added:
Bonus for headshot- ammo/health
Bonus for long shot (sniper)- health and distance configurable
Bonus for super long shot- health and distance configurable
Drop weapons on death
Translucent carcasses

I stopped here from some thorough online testing but I need a break. Thursday was a chemo day and I'm still a little ragged so I have to work in short bursts. I'll try to have this done quickly but you guys are welcome to email me and I'll share you the ongoing version to test if you like (agutgopostal at hotmail dot com). Still to add today:
Random drop rewards on death (keg, health, udamage)
Tombstones mod added
Generic health and/or ammo for kill with no extras

Oh wow UTP, that's pretty freaking awesome of you man. This community needs more ppl like you, willing to help the community! I will do the same as I further my coding skillz. I've got a semi-polished version done. I'm writing the readme now and I'll try to have it posted up tomorrow morning. I didn't find any bugs (yet) but it needs some light on-server testing just to be sure.
I'll post the source code with comments so you can alter this stuff any way you like. It's pretty easy changes to make if you want to adjust things further and I'll explain in the code where to do it.

this mod is pretty fantastic there bro.. have had 1 complaint.. which is that when the player dies he does not drop current weapon. however I have discovered one small problem in regards to team based games on maps like face.. where you can kill your teammates by bunting them off the edge and get rewards lmao.

also how does the random drop thing work?.. it seems to drop things.. sometimes nothing for several minutes.. or untold kills.. really is a very good mod.

apreciated. would be nice to jave ability to have itdrop weapons based on classes.. but this would likely be a big tak/ask i guess.. again cheers for a great mod
