Doesn't seem to work on my linux client. It keeps telling me I need to install it while I like dl'ed the client zip, then dl'ed stuff from the server and even moved it from Cache to System.
Piece of log:
Code:
Log: FactoryCreateText: TextBuffer with TextBufferFactory (0 1 QValidate111Present.q)
Log: Can't find file 'QValidate111Present.q' for import

Plz dont claim it to be fully unless linux clients are able to play on qval servers. Your work might be a savior for serveradmins out there but it kills the game for us linux- and macusers since we are shut out. Its hard enough finding neutral servers as is. It has to be a top priority for you to make clients for other OSes or this mod wont be a accepted standard and introduced in CB cups.

Doesn't the so provided work with Linux clients ? Oh and you're right about mentionning Mac clients too. They've been shut out in the cold for a while now.

IMPORTANT: The file QValidate111.so included in this package is for SERVERS ONLY!!!
Using this so on clients may cause the client to crash!

I installed newest version of Qvalidate on our server. [OSP Server running MMC, Pure 7E and now Qvalidate]
I connected to server then was immmediately disconnected and prompted to install/download the Qvalidate file. I clicked install my UT shutdown. I reconnected. Then..
This is the error I got. I emptied all my cache and have no pure installed on my UT prior to connecting.
Then I cleared out my cache again. Installed all the Qvalidate files manually to my UT/sys folder. Then I reconnect and get this. Several of my buddies got the same thing
Any ideas of what I may be doing wrong? Please help

Empty your cache and also remove anu UTPures you have in the System folder. QV is indicating that the UTPureRC7C.u file you have isn't the same one as on the server (maybe a beta ?).

I completely emptied my Cache and the items in the actual Cache folder. Emptied recycle bin. Looked for any pure files in the sys folder. Still got the same errors. I don't know where else to look for Pure files in my UT folder.

Hmm, try replacing the UTPure file on your server with a freshly downloaded one .

your QValidate111.ini file isn't set right. It probably checks for UTPure7C while your server is using UTPure7E

Critical: appError called:
Critical: Can't bind to native class QValidate111.QChecker
Exit: Executing UObject::StaticShutdownAfterError
That is what I get in the ucc.log. It happens when I log in on my own server and then it crashes.
What is wrong?

Superseeded ?dunno what you mean by that I'm Dutch you know, but utdc is not installed on this server, it's a fresh server with only utpurerc7c in it.

I'm trying to say that latest bots are only detected by UTDC, QVal doesnt detect latest bots a long time ago.. imo.
If I'm wrong someone correct me
